Ocean Escape

OCEAN ESCAPE is a custom 2012 Sunreef 60 Loft, extensively upgraded for reliable global cruising. Rather than focusing on marina-based cruising, this yacht has been configured for self-sufficient, long-range passagemaking, with systems that support extended time away from shore.

A 4 kW bifacial solar array, large LiFePO4 house battery bank, dual Victron inverters, Victron monitoring, high-output alternator charging, 200 LPH watermaker, large tankage, offshore navigation electronics, strong ground tackle, and robust mechanical systems form the foundation of that capability.

The interior combines Anegre and Wenge wood joinery with matte and high-gloss finishes, cream-colored Alcantara headliners, and soft cream leather sofas. The main salon is arranged with a C-shaped dining settee and folding wood table to port, while a lounge sofa, internal helm station, and navigation desk occupy the starboard side. An island galley integrated into the saloon keeps the main living space connected, while the galley-down arrangement is equipped for offshore use with a Samsung stainless-steel double-door refrigerator/freezer, Whirlpool dishwasher, Westinghouse multi-burner gas stove and oven, custom air extraction system, and double-basin stainless-steel sink with a pull-out mixer tap.

Accommodations sleep up to 11 guests across five cabins and the saloon. The layout includes a master cabin, two queen cabins, and one bunk cabin, each with a private en-suite shower, head, and vanity. A crew cabin with two stacked bunks, one daybed in the saloon and chilled-water air conditioning support comfortable living aboard for extended periods.

Above deck, the layout is organized into three distinct zones dedicated to dining, sunbathing, and operation. The sailing package features a carbon mast, Park Avenue boom, Harken powered sail handling, 3 Harken ST80 electric winches, 2 Harken ST60 manual winches, and Incidence Hydranet mainsail and headsail that were recently serviced by a sail loft and reported in good working order for extended cruising.

Navigation is supported by a Raymarine Axiom 16, Garmin GMR 24 xHD radar, Garmin Reactor 40 autopilot, Garmin GHC 50 display, Garmin VHF 315 with dual stations, AMEC Camino-108 Class B AIS transponder, and advanced remote monitoring and control.

A 16’ (5m) AB ALX aluminum RIB tender with a Mercury 60 hp four-stroke outboard and new tubes in 2026 completes the package.
